The Girl in the Box

We used to have a cat named Ike. He loved to sit in boxes. I mean, he would sit in a shoebox lid.

Now, I have a child who also likes to sit in boxes. I'm not sure if there is any correlation, just stating some facts here.

She will try to shove herself into just about any -- and I mean any -- size box.

This large specimen was in our living room for almost two months. Katie would demand to be put in it to watch her television show. She would stand in the corner of the box with her elbows hanging out on either side as if she were lounging in a pool or hot tub.

Got an odd shaped cardboard box? Bring it says this Little Wickie...

haha! Sharla always gets first dibs on new boxes around here. Stay in our livingroom until Brandon can't take it anymore. At which point it mysteriously disappears while Sharla is sleeping.

I can't believe she squeezed herself into the wipes box. So cute. My kids will play with a box over any thing. Makes me wonder why we have so many toys.

Um, yeah, we have a Kawasaki motorcycle frame box in our living room ... yep, the same size as a motorcycle. Ryder loves it .. he takes a pillow and a blanket inside and then wants to be covered up with a blanket on the outside of the box. So cute.

Dude...hope this "box" thing isn't a premonition to her future housing aspirations : P
