First Fire

This weekend brought the first rain of the season. It rained pretty hard* and consistently yesterday so we stayed indoors the better part of the day. Papa went out and got some firewood and we picniced our dinner in front of the fire place. Katie thought this was great fun as it was the first time we had a fire in the fire place with her (that she remembers). The novelty of eating in the living room went very far with her.

*raining "hard" is a relative statement as we do live in Southern California
