performances galore

This year has been filled with a number of stage performances.  (This post will probably be most appreciated by the grandparents).

Most recently Katie played Annie (again) in a talent show.

Unfortunately she didn't wear the wig during the performance (she thought people would laugh at her).

In a milestone performance Katie actually talked her sister into performing with her which was huge as Maddie seems to shy away from the stage.

Here is their rendition of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" from the Lion King.

I also realized I hadn't posted her talent show performance from earlier this year for those of you following Katie's career closely...

I am really impressed with her mad uke skills. I mean it. When she showed me the Em chord I knew this girl was legit.

Seriously Becky, you should be proud.

The next step is a decent 3/4 size guitar. We're going to need a rhythm guitarist in 4 years for Laura's Bday Party Band.

Oh my goodness! So much talent! Your daughter looked adorable as Annie! My daughter has decided that she wants to dress up like Annie for Halloween this year. Where did you find that incredible wig?

The wig belonged to our pastor's wife, so I don't know where she got it from!
