Katie operated both the hand mixer as well as the mixer stand today by herself. She took the job very seriously and did an excellent job. She told me that in a few years she would be able to bake cookies all by herself.
Ah... dreams of being fed cookies by my daughter while lounging on the couch.
(With no mess to clean up of course.)

of course..isn't that the whole point of having kids? to raise them into your own personal maids and butlers??
I'm wondering when that kicks in...kids doing the cooking and cleaning. Someone said 10-12...still have a couple more years. Looks like Katie could give my kids some lessons.
